general questions
What is a Neighborhood Gym?
Neighborhood Gym is a private, bookable gym. You reserve a time, unlock the door with your phone, and the entire space is yours.
It’s calm, clean, and distraction-free — the opposite of a crowded gym.
Most members say they know within 10 minutes that this is the way they want to work out.
How Does Check in Work?
We designed the experience to be easy:
- Download the Neighborhood Gym app
- Create your account + claim your free trial session
- Book a time
- You’ll receive an email from Kisi with your “key”
- Use your phone to unlock the door
No front desk. No awkward check-ins. Just tap, walk in, and the space is yours.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants:
- Privacy
- A consistent routine
- A clean, simple space
- To avoid crowds
- A gym that actually fits their life
A lot of members are busy executives, parents, early-morning lifters, people new to fitness, or people who simply appreciate having a space to themselves.
Why do you limit the number of members?
Neighborhood is intentionally small. We cap membership so the space always feels private, calm, and available — no crowds, no chaos, no waiting for equipment.
Most people know within 10 minutes of being inside that the limited-membership model is what makes Neighborhood feel different from every other gym.
What security is in place?
Every gym has cameras inside the workout area and at entry points.
They’re there for your protection and to keep the gym safe, clean, and functioning as intended.
Members consistently tell us they feel safer here than in big gyms.
What equipment is inside?
Everything you need for an effective strength or conditioning workout — without the clutter.
Think:
- Squat rack
- Bench
- Dumbbells
- Kettlebells
- Rower or Bike
- Turf
- Bands + Mats
- Space to move
Is it actually private?
Yes. When you book a time, the gym is dedicated to you (and your guest if you bring one).
Some natural overlap may happen with other members or the cleaning crew.
How clean is it?
Members call it “the cleanest gym I’ve ever used.”
You walk into a fresh, reset space — not yesterday’s sweat.
How fast can I sign up?
About 30 seconds. Most people sign up and book their first session in under a minute.
What’s the commitment?
Yes — your first session is free.
Most people know within 10 minutes if Neighborhood is their gym.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Your first 7 days are free.
Book private sessions, use the space on your own schedule, and see if it fits your routine.
After the trial, membership is $25/week. Cancel anytime.
Are sessions limited to 60 minutes?
Yes. A 60-minute block keeps everything fair and predictable.
- If you’re early, the room won’t unlock yet
- If you’re late, the hour still runs
- If you stay past your time, overage fees may apply and the next member needs the space
Think of it like booking a private studio that runs on time.
How do Renegade Fit members book free Neighborhood sessions?
Renegade Fit members get free drop-ins at Neighborhood.
Just select Renegade Membership Drop-in when booking and create your Neighborhood account with the same email you use for Renegade.
How do Neighborhood members book free Renegade classes?
Same idea.
Neighborhood members can book using the Neighborhood Membership Drop-in option at Renegade Fit — as long as both accounts use the same email.
Two gyms, one membership. More ways to train, not more to manage.
What are the house rules?
Simple: treat this space like it’s yours.
- Put equipment back where it belongs
- Wipe everything down
- Keep noise respectfu
- Stay inside your booked time
- Take your belongings with you
This entire concept works because members take pride in keeping the space clean and calm.
Are there showers or places to get ready?
Yes — we have a shower, toiletries, and a large restroom so you can go from workout to “the rest of your day” seamlessly.
What if I forget something?
No worries. You should have already received a text or email from our concierge team. Reply to them and we’ll hold your item for you.
How does Neighborhood fit with Renegade Fit?
Think of it like this:
- Renegade Fit → the energy, community, and guided classes
- Neighborhood Gym → the calm, personal, independent sessions
Together, you get a full training ecosystem: coached intensity when you want it, private time when you need it.
Why does it ask for a credit card if the first session is free?
We use it to verify identity and to cover any no-show, late-cancel, or time-overage fees.
You won’t be charged unless a fee applies — or unless you decide to continue membership.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. We offer a 7-Day Free Trial so you can experience Neighborhood without pressure.
After your trial, your membership continues at $25/week.
You can cancel anytime before your next billing date.
Most people know within 10 minutes if Neighborhood is their gym.
Do you offer towels or water?
Yes. Each location has filtered water fountains and towel service.
Towels go quickly during peak hours, so we recommend bringing your own — we want your experience to feel effortless from the moment you walk in.
What are the membership options?
We keep memberships simple and flexible.
Neighborhood offers a week-to-week membership you can cancel or freeze anytime with 7 days’ notice.
Rates vary by location — check the Pricing page for the most up-to-date details.
Because we cap members, spots fill quickly at each gym.
What is the cancellation or no-show policy?
Because sessions are limited and each booking reserves the entire space, we ask that you cancel at least 8 hours before your session.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee so we can keep availability fair for everyone.
How do I freeze or cancel my membership?
Just email info@neighborhood-gym.com at least 7 days before your next billing date.
Freezes are easy. Cancellations follow the 7-day notice policy.
No long-term contracts, no hoops to jump through.
